Swami Sivananda was a person with an unbelievable personality. I am eager to know the wordings of the kirtan he sang. All the posts of the Master’s voice should be supported by written words. He is a master in music. He can put to tune any sentence of wisdom. He did not need much of rhyming in the kirtans he sang. yet they are beautiful beyond words. One of the kirtans he used to sing which was later sung by a sannyasin of BIHAR SCHOOL OF YOGA really enthralled me. the words go like this:
Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate, Realize,
Be Good, Do Good, Be Kind, Be Compassionate,
Enquire Who am I, Know thyself and be free,
You can attain Immortality……. [I could not catch the rest of the words, if you have them, I am eager to know]
